HOJAS Y RAICES CENTRO EDUCATIVO
Wave Scholars provides the funding for this school and educational center in Baja California. The school was founded in 2019 to serve the children from local farming communities. The school serves 60 students in pre-K through 8th grade.The school operates under the Mexican Department of Education. The school is directed and staffed by Mexican Christian teachers who provide a holistic, individualized education. In addition to core academic subjects, the teachers incorporate art, music, and English. 75% of the students had never attended school before attending this school due to economic circumstances and geographical distance. By providing transportation, an individualized learning plan for each student, and family support, the school is giving these students the opportunity for an education. This is a small school filled with great love!
